West Seattle Kitchen Where Spaghetti Rules - Home Birth Year 1928

When called to work my magic on this 1928 West Seattle home I arrived to plaster torn from walls, studs, and vintage, dangling wiring. What is now the kitchen and feasting area was four small separate rooms one of which was the original kitchen space. I was enchanted by the cottage appeal ready to appear. The goal was to change the lower floor to accommodate a serious cook and large family living in the 21st century while at the same time restoring some lost vintage appeal. We chose to make this space livable, exciting, cozy and safe, and most importantly, a special place where imagination has power and a story continues to unfold.
